New Katoomba Aerial Ropeway

The new aerial cable car at Katoomba was shown off to the press yesterday.
Unlike the Skyway which has been in operation for many years and goes
nowhere across the valley on a roughly level journey, this one descends into
the valley and will have a lower station where one can get off and on.  It
is expected to open to the public next month.  For details:
