Yes they have - all of them.

As long as you're talking about closing, dismantling, ripping up or
whatever, they're all ears!

As for the route, does it stop at the southern "expressway", or continue
beyond?

They've probably proposed the busway because buses are perceived by the
public to be less "unfriendly" than trains, due to the reputation trains
have, particularly after dark.  Not that the Gov't has done much, nay
anything, to correct the perception.  Refer my point above.

Oh well, enough griping about SA!
