According to Railway Digest July 1984 edition the trains were as follows:-

Down 42107-KB, NLKY, MCS, FS, MAL, ATP, LHO

Up 44214-MCE, FS, MCS, MAL, ATP, LHO.

The article didnt say what went on or off whereever, but from memory the MAL
was detached/attached at Junee.
