If convenience was what they had in mind, they would run ST1/ST2 via
Granville, which is a 5 minute drive from Parramatta (where coachlines pick
up over 50% of their passengers, no reason why the railways should be any
different), and also has ample parking for meeters and greeters at the times
that ST1/ST2 would be going through.

As for travelling the extra 20 minutes to Central, it would not really be a
problem anyway, people from the north could travel to Central just as
easily, those from the west could use Cumberland line to Campbelltown - if
they are reliant on train travel to get to the Countrylink service.
