Swanston Trams Shuttle Service

Altered Tram Services Routes 8 and 16 Weekdays until 7pm from
Friday 2 June until further notice

Following a tram collision, on Thursday, 1 June, along St Kilda
Road, Swanston Trams has withdrawn W Class trams from service as
a safety precaution.

W Class trams normally operate on Route 8 and 16 and the
following changes have been made to these services.

For Route 16 take Route 3, 5, 64, 67 between the city and St
Kilda Junction, then change to Route 16 shuttle between St Kilda
Junction and St Kilda Beach.

For Route 8 take Route 6, 72, 3, 5, 64, or 67 between the city
and Domain Interchange, change to Route 8 shuttle which will
operate from Domain Road, along Toorak Road to Glenferrie Road.

We apologise for the inconvenience, however the safety of
passengers and staff is Swanston Trams' first priority.
