CountryLink trains have been known to interlope onto the CityRail
platforms (especially on weekends). They must not need the platforms
that badly if the IP can sit on platform 1 from 0915-1455 two days a
week. If CountryLink needs the platforms badly, I'm sure they could
boot GSR out for that amount of time.

However, CityRail Southern Highlands services commonly leave from
CountryLink platforms.
