The Powerhouse Museum's loco 3830 was found to have a cracked bearing when
it returned from Maitland Steamfest last night [Saturday]. Consequently the
loco could not return to Maitland today [Sunday] and was replaced by 4401 on
the double header with 3801.
3801 was expected to run both trips for the Steamfest organisers out of
Maitland
