Re: Queensland EMU sets



Its very hard to seal the curved glass so leaks occur allowing water into
the cab from around the edges of the curved side windscreens.  The current
program replaces each curved windscreen with two smaller flat windscreens
solving the problem.

British Rail did the same on some of their 25kv AC EMUs many years ago
(Claxton/Clacton electrics???).
