Both are indeed preserved, although in different forms. 5450 is preserved by
the Pilbara Railway Historical Society (not sure if it is oprable), while
5451 is on static display along with Goldworthy H2 and Mount Newman 5497 at
a park at Port Hedland. All three have been repainted into original colours,
although when I visited the area in 97, the Mount Newman letering had not
been applied to 5451(it was still in the process of being repainted).
Michael
>(ii) Mt Newman mining (now BHP). They originally had two imported F7A's
>(5450-5451). Did only one survive in preservation with Pilbara Railway
