Train arrived late, around 9:30, although no one knew why.  They had loaded about half the train by 2:00pm.  Both engines (G533+X38 both in VLine orange/grey) were at the southern end of the train, so everything would have to be pushed back to Queanbeyan.  The open was coupled next to the locos and contained several wheels - spares in case of a flat tyre?  Only 3-4 wagons could be reached at a time due to the lay of the land, so the train had to constantly repositioned.  Loading started at the back.

I have 20 or so photos, taken during loading - email me for a copy but I think I'll have to get my web site back in operation and put them there - couple of thumbnails to tantalise attached.
