I went over to look at the line on Sunday, and there was a gang working on the track. Previously this track behind Hume was only used by ARHS trips and was not in great condition - the spot where I was is a road (dirt track) crossing, and the dirt was nearly higher than the rails, now it has a nice deep flange clearance. The track gang didn't know when operations were starting, but they were finishing by Sunday afternoon, so it looks like its all ready to go.
