Friday saw the three GN T class return back from
Bendigo. Last night GN operated two works trains on the Racecourse line with
376-377 working push-pull on one train and 345 and hired Steamrail T395 on
another. It is expected they will run again tonight.
Yesterday and today there will be no paper train
to Maryvale due to plant problems. This
morning an empty log train passed Murrumbeena just after 06.00 with non turbo
loco, i.e. T or X class. Also this morning G543 operated the Lyndhurst Cement
train.
X49 is expected to be released from Ballarat
workshops this Monday painted green. It will possibly be attached to 9140
arriving into Melbourne on Tuesday morning about 10.00.
