Information from a protected source:

"Saturday  morning 9-10-99 train No 5575 Werris Creek to Weemelah
with engines 48154 ,8050 conveying empty wheat trucks and got to
weemelah . The track between Camurra and weemelah is a class 5
track only 48/49 class allowed at a maximum speed of 30kph.  The
driver from Narrabri relieved the the incomming driver at Moree
and questioned a few people about it and they said that it was ok
so 8050 progressed to Weemelah on the train.  When a new officer
signed on and was question about 80classes going to Weemelah he
was told no way,  but the engine was already there. The incoming
officer then had to advise everybody about it and a Rova Mech
authority had to be issued to bring it back to Camurra at 10kph.
    80class engines can go from Camurra out to Nth Star."
