Aus loco discussion mailing list
It was very busy on the Unanderra-Moss Vale line over the weekend, this may have been because the line is now closed for re-sleepering between Calwalla and Dombarton.
To add to the sightings on Sunday, 8180+81?? were heading west over Springhill Road at Coniston around 11:30. 8242+8228 came down through Farmborough Heights (on the Up) with a loaded grain train about midday.
I heard 2 trains going up the hill on Saturday night, one at 18:15 and the other at 18:30, so I assume the second would have to wait at Dombarton till the first cleared Summit Tank.
