To add to the bulldog madness, GN 22 is currently at Islington
workshops SA receiving modifications to its sanding gear, to make it acceptable
for use in NSW. It is going to be hired to LVR. I suspect it will head north
once GM10 is finished. This will allow for 27 to be placed on bg, while 10 will
be on spot hire in Vic.
Today saw two FreightCorp 48s arrive into Melbourne behind an
81 on the soy bean train. They returned back almost instantly, as by 12.00 they
had gone. The returning load was quite impressive, 81-48-48 three empty
container flats. They are to return again tomorrow. Get your shots of the 48s
now as it my be likely that GN T class may take over.

GN will be running their end of year special to
Gisborne this Saturday, with hopefully the flat top, This driver rostered on it
has requested it, so hears hoping.
