Not only is the hunter a problem but getting across to Dubbo and through
Narromine and then onto Parkes and points south from there could also pose
some problems. I am not sure how far up Junee control would come towards
Parkes but they still have to get there.

I can't see how this will get them around the strike area. They still have
to negotiate the Hunter Valley from Ulan and the North Coast line from
Telerah. (Broadmeadow control) .
The proposed Inland Standard Gauge concept (Melb-Darwin) with "connection"
to Brisbane would come in handy right now!
