Mark,

Broadmeadow and Orange train controllers are on strike all today.  There are no
trains running west of Orange.  A meeting was scheduled to be held at Midday
today to discuss further industrial action.  I'm surprised the IP got through to
Sydney.  It may have gone via the south from Parkes as Junee control is not
affected.

Recent industrial action by NR drivers has seen SP5 & PS6 services restricted to
900m lengths.  This has led to the cancellation of SG3 and GS2 in the last few
weeks and seen piecemeal running of Elura ore wagons to Port Pirie on NY3 so
that it does not go over the magic 900m length.
