EL class alert - NSW!

In spite of news to the contrary, info has been confirmed that the two EL
class locos that were at Junee will be
departing that location with a train for Sydney tonight (yes I said
tonight - Wednesday!)
The train is 3162 Austrac Freight which is (was) tabled to depart Junee at
23.10 presumably for Cooks River. It is conveying a number of container
wagons of
and was expected to be hauled by EL62/51. It is tabled to
pass Campbelltown at 8.10 a.m. Thursday morning (but with this load and
power combination, it could presumably run early if a path is available).

First it was NBs, then 47s and now its ELs - what a changing rail scene it
is in
NSW!
