Hi all,
Just an observation but as I far as I can work
out, none of the CLF locos have been repainted to GSR colours ove rthe last
few years ...only the CLP's. Is this just an historical accident and they will
gradually be done too or is there a reason for it?
Personally I thought the CLP's looked fantastic in their
paint scheme. The plain Green and Gold of the CL's and CLF's did not do much
for me in later years. Wonder what a CL would have looked like in the NJ
version of CR/ANR red and silver gray?
Cheers
Trevor

More news from the roving Mexican
correspondent, this time from Port Augusta. CLP16 (Charlie Harris'
favourite loco!) is about to be released to traffic from PA workshops, in
fresh ASR livery (minus decals). It should be added to Sunday's
incoming SCT (PM9) for delivery to Adelaide.
Cheers,
Paul
