Aus loco discussion mailing list
42104 was painted in an experimental reverse colour scheme, with very thin
lines. I have seen photos of it at the paint shop at Chullora and I have
been advised by a reliable source that it did venture to at least Central.
It wasn't in this scheme for very long (maybe only a couple of days) before
it was repainted in the 'standard' reverse scheme. It was scrapped in this
colour scheme.
