In Narromine at the moment Silverton locos 31 and 35 are putting their train
into storage. This seems odd as I thought they would take their train
straight to Cobar or Parkes which ever way they were going. 4872 and 4888
are loading wheat on the main line to Parkes at the moment. This is no
reason for Silverton to put away, as they could stand in the loop until the
wheat finished loading.
Can anyone explain the reason why Silverton loco 31 would have gas cylinders
strapped to side of it? They look like the 100lb bottles and there was
about 4 or 5 strapped to the side standing up.
