RE: 44 class experimental livery!

I  have movie film of a 44 with the experimental solid  yellow "cigar band" nose,instead of the whiskers.

I can confirm 4436 and 4457 (I have photos of 4457 on the down Flyer at Fassifern). I am not sure about 4440 vs 4442. The colour scheme was more of a brown than Indian Red with a broad yellow line along the base of the carbody.
