I saw NR121 inside the shed at Broadmeadow (Goninans) a few weeks back and much of it was still in grey primer but I can confirm it had 121 number boards. 1872 was sighted in Junee roundhouse not long back with engine parts scattered around the shed and I believe it has a somewhat major problem. As I recall 4816 was sold at the great Cardiff auction without a turbocharger so I suspect they have had to buy or borrow one from somewhere to make this unit operable. With the use of ELs in recent weeks I wonder if another 48 is needed for the present workload. I have heard a suggestion that CFCL has bought a share of Austrac in recent weeks. Can anyone confirm this one?
