Administrative Xmas Eve 1999

Aus loco discussion mailing list

Christmas Greetings To All,

The AUSLOCO Mailing List has reached a bit of a 'MileStone', in that we now
have, just over 200 Subscribers. Two hundred and three to be precise.
Needless to say, this is a LOT more then I initially expected, considering
AUSLOCO's particular 'Area of Interest'.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody for their 'self
control' , in keeping too the 'SPIRIT' of OUR AusLoco 'List !!
There are, of course, a number of regular NSW, VIC, SA & TAS'sie
contributors, to whom we owe considerable 'Thanks' !!
And I definately encourage Ausloco'ites to E-mail 'OFF-THE-LIST' any words
of 'Festive' appreciation. (Keep it simple, though)
All of us, also, appreciate the accasional (to few) QLD and WA reports. It
was good to see someone from the Pilbara 'Post' something recently !!

With the 'Winding Down' of railway activity over the Christmas weekend, this
might be a good opportunity for Subscribers to give us their
MotivePower/Combo/Lashup 'Highlights' for the last 12 months.
(Within our GUIDELINES of course)

Best Wishes to ALL for Christmas
Patrick J. Buchanan
