Things are happening every half hour!
Ex-Westrail unit K207 is on its way over from the west in the consist of
4PA9S, currently at Port Augusta.
Whether it will go through early tomorrow morning on 6MA9S (sched dep
Adelaide 0145hrs) or not is unknown.
Also unknown is why what is normally 4PM9S throughout has been split into
two trains for reporting purposes.
AND two Freight Victoria Gs worked on empty ballast consist (as 5MA2V or
5DA2V) deep into SA today to the quarry at Callington arriivng around 1530
hrs, with the Gs proceeding light engine to Adelaide. The ballast is for use
on ARTC works in Victoria (presumably sub contracted to ABB). Unfortunately
the return working is unknown at this stage.
Cheers
Mark
