Re: Re: A60 & A81 and other bulldogs

I don't think A66 will be painted for a while, National Express have not
booked any more locos in for overhaul at Newport workshops (for the moment
anyway). Newport now only sees one Passenger loco at a time, generally when
one is released, another is sent. The diesel shops at Newport are becoming
quite deserted, with many worker being sent to work on tin-cans (sparks).
Continuing on from the other replies, yes they are keeping the red/blue
livery. A60 is the third to be painted since the sale of V/Line Passenger
(A70 & N468). And yes it has been already painted. There was a possibility
is was going to do what A70 did, get released then painted at a later date.
If A66 is painted, will it be the winner of wearing the most liveries
(five)? (reopening the livery debate)

Specking of bulldogs, A73-S307-H5 have just passed on the down paper train.
