BL26 + Tocumwal

Just back from a weekend trip home to Melb.; noted BL26 in the NR
provisioning centre at Dynon yesterday morning: am I correct in
believing this unit has been unused (stored?) at the MPC in Adelaide for
a year or so?  One catcher looks freshly painted, without the yellow
stripes.  The AN logo on that nose has been partially scraped /
scratched off, but is mostly still visible.

Sightings from the trip back to Orange today:

X50 / P22 / X41 (all cab first) / 12 container flats (all slots full),
crossing the highway at Strathmerton, North-bund, 0932

P20 / A85 on containers, for south-bound departure, Tocumwal, 0945

Hoppers noted at Grong Grong silos; no locos at west end; didn't see
other end.

48109 / 48156 / hoppers (locos on East end), Wyalong silos, 1247

Tocumwal has heaps of grain in the ground bins, covered with tarps:
three or four huge piles sighted.  Narrandera had one large tarp-covered
pile being built, Wyalong looked to have one or two.  Looks like a
reasonable crop all 'round.  

15 patrol cars, most with radar, noted between Seymour and Forbes; lucky
they weren't about last Thursday night when I "drove" south!

If I don't write again before the end of the week, a very merry and safe
