This morning an T-S combo passed Murrumbeena
around 05.20 with an down empty log train. I think the S was S306. Right behind
this was the down Pioneer train with G516. The down Paper train has got
A73-S307-P23 and should be passing here in the next half hour. Two out of the
four serviceable S's in one day down the south-east, considering up to last week
no members from this class had been down this way for some time (at least 2
years).
S310 has apparently returned to service, last
week it traveled to Newport workshops for a quick turn on the wheel lathe. I
don't know where it is now.
