I have been told that on the 20th Dec a new freight
timetable will be brought into use with a few additions.
There will be three extra wheat trains each way
from the south and the NR ore loadings will be running as a separate train
instead of being tacked on the back of the NY and YN trains. Apparently the main
reason for the reprint is they can't squeeze the extra wheatless in-between the
existing trains, meaning there will probably be some minor changes to other
services.
It will be interesting to see if there are any
trains tabled to run on the reopened Blayney to Cowra section.
Freight Corp (or Grain Corp whoever does the wheat
cartage this week) must be expecting a good wheat harvest this year to warrant
buying more paths.
