Re: [Ausloco] Cooks River 24.5.00
It seems to have been a busy day on the Botany Line, unforetunatly I'm
busy doing nothing at school but got the chance to check out Cooks at
12.45pm (24/5) and cycled round Botany later in the afternoon at around 3pm
In the yard
EL52 - had been swapped with 1872 on the Yennora Botany local on Monday ???
8148? - shunting MCS
4890/48xx - in the yard
NR48?/NRxx - next to them
Does anyone have other numbers of these locos, it would be greatly
appriciated :)
T381/EL51 on a short rake of 10 wagons, not to sure if this was all but it
seemed like it. It also seemed as though only one EL was going north,
however I didn't see the train leave so I'm not too sure.
Also at the time, Something in James's siding was pulling up, didn't see
the loco and had to go, I hope it wasn't the 'parrot' !
At Port Botany 8109 shunting
8203 shunting Patricks
48xx/48xx at Kelloggs - the sun stopped me from seing any numbers
Then an unusual pair of visitors, EL58/EL62 pulled into F frame and then
shunted back into the Gelco siding(i believe its called that) they left bout
7 AOGF's there and then proceeded down to the port with 5 wagons.
I waited till 3.45pm to see the 48's but they hadn't left, what a shame
:(
Hope you enjoyed this report, from the 'Botany Line'
Chris.
