[Ausloco] ATN / L class & bits
Morning All
Information to hand indicates that 2 of the L class that were being
overhauled at Whyalla have now moved to Islington for final fit out of
radios etc, the wagons that are to be used on the ATN train are
expected to be landed within a week and the first revenue run of this
operator is due to work in the first week of June, Depending on the
state of Appelton dock, one or more of the ATN workings MAY run down
the Illawarra to Port Kembla,
Austrac's 1555 / 5156 is due to run again this week, it is anticipated
that 1555 will split at Narrabri with the T class leading it's portion
to Merrywinebone, at least 2 EL's will be used on the Moree section
this working was cancelled last week ), times should be the same or
similar to last week,
FA are very quiet at the moment, the canola consist is still parked in 2
road at Junee, though two of the green modified wagons were cut out of
the consist last week and forwarded to Port Kembla for unloading, 9381
/3982, the wheat consist been working Caragabal, Temora sub, and
Hillston, with a working planned for tomorrow to Temora,
The passage of SP 15/ 16 over the weekend was marked with indifference,
though there was a reasonable amount of freight onboard nobody paid any
real attention to the train at Junee on Saturday or Sunday,
Yours,
Pete Kilburn,
Junee,
It's easier to fight for one's principles
than to live up to them,
