                           Latest news on the 422's is that four will go
straight to Pt. Augusta to commence rebuild. I will second Bob's info that
CLF6 & GM44 will go to Broken Hill after they do a trip to Whyalla to pick
up some open wagons. As I said before 8 are for Darwin and the rest (that
are useable) will be used to develop new traffic. 42210/19 are to go into
traffic straight away, one story is to replace GM's 32/34 on Patricks
banking.

Latest news on BU1 is that ASR have given up on it and it will be sent back
to Whyalla soon, I know they were having major wheelslip problems in the
Hills and it failed on several occasions working grains. Another major
factor is that they can usually only use the BU1 on Monday and Tuesday as
the ALF's go west on Wednesday so it has no "mothers" to work with.

The work train with the three GNR GM's passed through Belair at approx
3:05pm.
Also heard a story that 1AP4T pulled the front of a flat wagon off near Mt
Christie yesterday, anyone heard anything?
