[Ausloco] Re: "Yum Yum" in town

G'day all,

Rare visitor to Echuca Vic. in the form of S307 standing alone (and forlorn!) in the yard this morning. X32 should have worked the Moulamein & return Echuca this morning.

Purpose of visit? Don't know, however, an S class is usually for extra power these days, so, 9084 to Melb. tonight will probably be the beneficiary. On second thoughts, it might double-head with X32 to Deniliquin this afternoon as loadings of grain ex Deni. have been high over the last week. The `old girl' is facing north so would require the X class to swap ends with her at Deni.

A grain extra worked to Deniliquin & return last Sat.. Unsure of the loco, (too busy pouring concrete for our "little" railway) however, the sound of the thing told me it was "turbo power"... G class!
