I were aware that the ex-VLine freight were handed over to FA, but I didn't
know that the A class were included in this.

You are obviously not a regular reader of this list otherwise you would
be aware that ALL the former V/Line Freight locos passed into the hands
of Freight Victoria later renamed Freight Australia. I think that 15
locos made it into FV colours whilst any furture repaints will be as FA.
