G'day all, spent the best part
of the day (7am-2pm) running around Pt Kembla in search for some variety, and
boy did I get it. Also ran into Chris Stratton (I was the young bloke at
the HBL siding with the camera, sorry that all you got from me was a G'day but
I'm a bit shy)
8102 - NR shunter,
running around all day
DL50/41 - outside NRC
admin - Idling all day
T390/408 - coupled with 2
FV grain wagons - outside NRC admin
HBL58 - at the Heggies
siding (as reported by Chris) with 6 flats with containers being unloaded of the
train onto trucks and being run into BHP to return shortly after and be loaded
on the train again.
Also at Pt Kembla loco
8161/8181 - left loco at 8am to
the Inner harbour
4908, 4918,
8184/8162
At NRC sidings
DL47/44 coupled to the rock
train - uncoupled at 8.30am an ran to Pt Kembla loco
Of interest DL47 had very yellow bogies, obviously
of an AN DL.
NR42/65 - shut down
NR80/35/70 - to be remarsalled
later with NR80/70 on a WB steelie
At Inner harbour at 9am.

G533/G542 - hauling a rack
of grain wagons through the unloader (40 in total with a mix of 24 FA and
16 FV wagons)
D44 - 10am - shunting AIS
and NRC till midday with WB and BW traffic.
8102 - shunting the jetty
near Incitect.

8258 on a coalie (i
think)
FA G's shunting back into a
storage road, they then uncoupled and ran to NRC admin to join the
T's.
8103 - pulling rack GT9 through
the unloader
Inner Harbour at 1pm

Cringilla at 1.10pm
D51/D34 with a
coalie
D ??
Gone Spot at 1.30pm
4853 using loose shunting
methods with coalies and grainies.
Of Interest no 86's were at the
station
And, X101 (X212) had dissapeard (as reported
previously)
