Northern Rivers Railroad should be running
the Ritz Rail tourist train to Lismore on the following dates:-
Sundays: May 7,14,21,& 28. June
4,11,18, & 25.
Wednesdays: May 10,17, & 24. June
7, & 28.
Times are as follows:

In addition, on Friday May 26, a special
service will run from Murwillumbah to Casino for the Casino Beef Week Carnival,
which features the Casino Cup sponsored by Northern Rivers
Railroad.

Motive power on these trains will consist of either
single or double units (dependant on no. of carriages)
from the Northern Rivers Railroad 421/422 class
locomotives.
A soy bean program has commenced in the Casino area
which could result in some multiple unit lash-ups (if the required grain wagons
are released for this traffic) during the next 6-8 weeks. If a quad 421 combo
develops, you can rest assured, that this photographer will be convincing his
employer (and wife :-) ) of the need of an extended weekend in the Northern
Rivers area. I hope this information is useful to anyone contemplating a trip to
