[Ausloco] More about those 422s

I have just been informed that 42219 and 42210 ran on a freight from
Werris Creek to Tamowrth and return today as a trial for their move.
Latest information I have obtained is that a train of 422s is to be
assembled this week at Werris Creek and instructions are that it must be
delivered to Broken Hill via Binaway by 16/5. It would appear that they
intend to put 42210 at one end and 42219 on the other with all the other
dead units in between. I have received some further information relating
to ASRs requirement for these units. Apparently the plan is that they
will be completely rebuilt for work train use on the Alice - Darwin
project - including some as single enders with long range fuel tanks. It
would appear from my latest information that ASR and not ATN are the
buyer.
