[Ausloco] G523 & X39

I decided to take a drive up to the site of the accident at Tongala this
arvo. Upon arriving l found the site void of any locos or wagons. A drive
in Tongala Yard?? found nothing, as did a trip to Kyabram, l decided to
give Echuca a try, sure enough....two graunched engines. It appears that
39 may not have actually come off its bogies, as it was on its own trucks,
and still with traction motor leads connected, suggesting they never came
off. The only body damage was bent/torn off pilot/steps, other than that
there appeared to be no ther visable damage. As for 523, its trucks are
upside down sitting on a flat wagon with a lot of mud etc stuck to them.
The G is riding on pony trucks. The only damage on the G seems to be
cosmetic, bent no. 1 end cab which took the impact, no pilots, there is a
lot of diesel all up the side, a small hole where something has punctured
the car body, smashed wind screens, and thats about it. Probably about 2
months in the shop for it, and maybe a 3 weeks for the X.
They are both returning to Melb tomorrow night (Sun) on 9084, with a speed
restriction of 60 km/h.
They arrived in Echuca yesterday.

Also of interest, stabled in the yard were X34-G516 (both D/Cline colors),
and a wheat extra departed there this arvo with X49-X52 l think it was,
both green, but not sure of the marshalling, which was headed for Bendigo.
When it arrived at Bendigo 9080 wheat was to depart for Echuca.
