[Ausloco] Mystery steam - Geelong

I'm just back from a pleasant game of bridge (Thurs). My wife tells me she 
heard a steam loco whistling for all the crossings tonight about 9pm. This 
would have been on the Warrnambool line just south of Geelong . She is sure 
it was on the up - heading to melbourne. Anyone know what it was? Did R711 
go to Warrnambool today??
