[Ausloco] MS 7
Evening All
SM 7 worked into North Dynon somewhat later than usual last Saturday,
with the possibility of a strike by the Controllers last Monday, light
loading, and no real loading ex Sydney on Monday's SM 7 the decision was
made to Amex MS 7 in Melbourne, this gave 2 crews a good rest, with the
working to the north- west last Monday using the majority of the
available conflats ex Sydney, the shortage of capable crews to work
North of Werris Creek has caused some problems, fortunately these have
been overcome,
MS 7 is scheduled to take up its normal run tonight,
SL 63, 8184 leading 42203 and the three AK cars rolled into Cootamundra
1600 or so, the 81 was cut off, to be attached to the first north bound
train, 42203 was also cut off it's train and ran via the Coota triangle
to reverse,( the control stand at the B end would not go into reverse),
after completing the manoeuvre, complicated by NY 3 being parked foul of
the triangle awaiting crew change, and the passage of D361 - T 381 L/E
the 422 roared at of town, passed Junee 1745, due Albury 1940,
Running as SL 64 this train is due away from Albury at 0500, Junee 0654,
The three cars on this train are numbered AK 82, 83 84 or something
similar, they were previously FAM cars ?, they also have different
bogies to the usual 2 CP ? does anybody have further info on these cars
and bogies,
Late evening at Junee Roundhouse showed no sign of the G and T, they may
have been locked away inside,
Yours,
Pete Kilburn,
Junee,
You don't stop laughing because you grow old,
You grow old because you stopped laughing,
