G'day all,
Last nights' 9083 ex Melb. arrived
Echuca with G521 + X51 + A78. The extra power was needed to clear heavier than
usual tonnage back to Melb. on 9084 (via Bendigo of course). I didn't see the
9084 departure, however, the yard was MT early this a.m., so, presumably all
three of the aforementioned locos would have returned to the big smoke on 9084
with a "biggy".
I presume that the
"unaffected" loading that was attached to Sunday night's job that
ended up "in the dirt" at Tongala en route Echuca - Melb. was hauled
back to Echuca by X34 and most if not all of it was on 9084 to Melb. last
night.
