Unfortunately my sound card is not behaving properly so I can't listen to James
recordings. The train was certainly the empty cars and as Danny has pointed out
about the mufflers, that would probably suggest why it sounded different. Also the
load was not much and thus they were not powering past my place, just rolling down
the hill from the Mangalore direction. The 42 at full chant would have been a dead
give away otherwise.
