John,
I think you have your dates wrong as T413 was brand new in 1956.
It was delivered to the Australian Portland cement works at Fyansford,
Geelong with the running number D1.
It was bought for VicRail who took delivery in May 1969 and was renumbered
T413.
It can still be seen with this number at the Geelong loco depot and is in
full working order if anyone wants to hire it,  BYO coaches.
