OK, it's now definitely 1/4 , so we can comment..

I'm just a little peeved that someone jumped the gun on an April Fools Day
gag a few of us thought of some time ago. Very similar in concept, the idea
was that National Rail would paint one of their AN class in a striking blue
and silver "livery" (silver bogies and all) , and call it "Fine Cotton",
just to annoy the hell out of CFCL!  Seen at a distance, with the wedge
nose,  they might have got away with it!

btw, any truth in the rumour of leased FA locos hauling de-engined Bluebird
cars on the inaugural Lithgow-Mudgee passenger service, due to a chronic
shortage of Countrylink rolling stock?  :-)))
