Yes - it was the guinea pig for a couple of trial schemes whilst still in the workshops but did not enter traffic until painted in the final yellow with black stripes.

Didn't Y7 go through a few experimental schemes- red with yellow and black 
end stripes and another one- before it was painted in the yellow scheme ?
