As it is not possible for enthusiasts to get permission to enter premises 
without Managerial authority I did some scouting around the local streets 
and found the following 80s in apparent storage: 8034 (blue), 8028, (blue), 
8026 (blue), 8013 (blue),8021 (blue) & 8045 (blue) all stabled around the 
turntable.
Elsewhere were 8049 (blue), 8014 (blue), 8022 (blue), 8036 (reverse), 8023 
(tuscan), 8006 (tuscan), 8041(reverse), 8031 (blue), 8044 (blue) & 8037 
(blue).
There were 2 more 80s and possibly more present, but I could not identify 
them.
Also the stored 85 class have been heavily hit by vandals with nearly every 
window on 8510 being smashed and 8510,8505,8502,8509 being splattered with 
graffiti.
Despite their storage outside the electrics still looked good with their 
shiny blue paintwork.
I also visited Delec, where the only active 80s were 8015, 8035, 8047, 8017 
whilst near the overbridge on Rookwood road I chanced to see 8004/8025 on an 
empty sandstone train.
Strangely, 8010 was at RSA Chullora facility along with RSA's 4827, plus 
42202, 4468, 4471, 4477, 4483, 4501, 4502, 4528, 3532.
Interesting to see the posting re sale of 4483. Will try to find out more 
about this from "reliable" source.
Hope this is some sort of interest.
