RE: RTM diesel fleet (was ???Steamfests???)

At present both 4306 and 4490 are out of service.
4306 requires 4 head gaskets on one bank replaced and possibly one on the other bank.
4490 is waiting to have the compressor removed for repair. The problem is thought to be a failed big end bearing in the HP cylinder. To remove the compressor the roof section has to be removed and then the header tank for the cooling system and the oil-bath air filters also have to be removed.
7920 is serviceable and it is possible that 7006 may go to Valley Heights.
