The first Government unit to be fitted with an ac unit in Australia was
QR's 1576 in 1976, an experimental Clyde-Kysor unit.
QR standardised on Sigma units and replaced the earlier Clyde Apac types
with Sigma.
They currently use Therm-Air models on the 2300 class rebuilds plus all
locos that have had DOO conversion (I don't know who the manufacturer is).
