Aus loco discussion mailing list
I thank you all, who contributed to my problems with locating model locos
for my NSWGR layout. I find that it is fairly easy to obtain cheap kit model
buildings, in HO and N scale, but the only HO Australian model locos I can
find are usually brass and/or whitemetal kits and very expensive (I am a
14-year-old still in High School).
I have found that Austrains produce good, and cheaper models for what I want
and I am glad that I have gotten on to them. Can anyone please send me
information about HFL passenger cars, pix, diagrams and the like. I have
heard that they are faily small cars, and since my layout is fairly small,
they would be quite appropriate. I have found "S" trucks very easily -
Austrains models - and I am now looking around for things such as the "CW"
cattle wagon and the "K" truck. I would also like someone to tell me about
some of the 4-wheel trucks used on the NSWGR, coal hoppers and the like.
When I have finished the entire railway, it is not really big, I can send
some pix for those who want them.
Martin.
