Bob, so far 8010 has not re-entered traffic since mass withdrawal following 
return from NRC several years ago.Last time I saw it at Delec in January it 
had almost new wheels.
It is possible that it was being cannibalised for parts to keep the others 
going.
I have been told that 2 of the trafficable units are presently out of 
service but there are no real plans to withdraw any at present due to 
traffic demands and several 81s out of action.
Apparently that is why there has been a noticeable increase in 48s being 
used on metropolitan trip working.
But you never know with Freightcorp!
